Redmi note 4 is one of the top most selling smartphone in India in 2017 year. 11 months are counting till goes up from all. Xiaomi already get remarks for redmi note 4 ’the smartphone of the year’.
It has 5.5 full hd ips lcd display with approx 400 ppi, battery is massive 4100 mah which lasts long for upto 2 days for heavy use and for moderate usage or normal usage it can holds upto 3 days, no doubt of it. The most powerfull mid ranged snapdragon 625 chipset is capable of power and energy efficient based on 14mm nano chipset which clock speed is upto 2-2.3 GHz, a octa core processor along with DDR3 4gb of ram which makes note 4 a beast.
It runs on android nougat miui 9 right now which is more capable of doing things with ease. Miui8 the previous customised rom is also quite stable and now miui9 is more fluid than previous. Recently xiaomi told that their miui speed and performance is nearly stock android which is great.
It have a 13 megapixel rear camera with bsi sensor which takes good quality of photos at day light but in indoor condition camera struggles a bit. Focusing is good but clarity goes out in low light. Front has 5 megapixel which can take decent selfies and both cameras can record videos upto full hd videos.
It has adreno 506 gpu which can handle graphic intensive games very easily. 625 chipset is already capable to play heavy games without too much heating and battery draining. Performance is too good in this price point.
Note 4 build quality and design is very good. It feels great and solid in hand. Display is protected with normal 2.5D curve glass which looks very good. Phone feels quite premium in terms of design. The touch capacitive keys are placed at bottom of phone and are backlighted. Finger print sensor is given in back side for superior grip and hold. Phone weight is around 165 gms.
The volume buttons and power button placed in right side, left side sim tray, upper side IR blaster and 3.5mm headphone port and at bottom side the microphone, speaker and micro usb charging port is given.
Call quality is very good in this phone. The network signal and strength is quite good. No issues with call quality.
Sound reception is very good in this device. The speaker outwent is much powerful to give good amount of details and noise cancelling microphone is also does well.
It have all the basic and necessary sensors like gyro, proximity, ambient light, step counter, hall sensor, magnetometer, compass, finger print etc.
It dont have NFC feature. Otherwise all the important features are included.
Definitely it is a value for money. Now company reduces the price upto rs.1000, which means you can 4gb varient phone at 12000 rs. That is great. In this price point you cant find these type of featured and full packed powerful smartphone in India. If you are not a camera or selfie freak then it is for you. Fully performance based and multi tasking heavy usage based smartphone. True value for money.
