One of the most hiked phone of Xiaomi was lauched on 22nd February in india but the hike which was created for NOTE 5 was not justified by the specifications and performance of the phone.Here are some major pros and cons of the phone-
PROS-
1- Battery- 4000 mAh lithium polymer battery gives you enough time to use your phone for a duration of approx one and a half day in a single charging.
2- Screen- 5.99 inch full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio provides you a good experience with better viewing angles.
CONS-
1- Front Camera- 5 megapixel front camera is not able to shoot the selfies that are expected from Xiaomi even some of the mobiles in same price range offering 20 mp selfie camera, and selfie camera is one of the key aspect of influencing buying decisions in current scenario.
2- Hybrid sim slot- In 3 gb RAM and 32 gb ROM variant users might face the problem of low internal storage and users can’t even insert a memory card as sim slot is hybrid and to insert a card they have to remove a sim card.
3- Processor- Snapdragon 625 chipset is slightly older and slower in 9999 range and many other phones may offer a better processing speed .
4- Design- Design of the phone is quite similar to redmi 5 and needs to be improved as per my opinions.
Summary- It seems that Xiaomi had made a half hearted approach to capture the market but it seems that few other brands outperformed Xiaomi in this price range.
