If you are buying this smartphone with the thought of gaming in the mind, I think you need to reconsider and have a good look at the features, specifications and AnTuTu score of the Snapdragon chipset. This is not a gaming smartphone and I bet you would repent after having it or the gaming uses. First of all, no matter how many smartphones use it, I would not consider Snapdragon 720G a gaming processor as it is not able to match even MediaTek Helio G80 in gaming.
When I play a game on my Redmi Note 8 Pro and my friend uses his Redmi Note 9 pro, his smartphone lags continuously and this is why w have lost many times when playing PUBG together. I really don’t know why Redmi used such a low grade processor in the smartphone and called this a gaming smartphone. This should not cost more than 10k for its features, for the kind of performance it delivers. Against this, my Redmi Note 8 Pro with MediaTek Helio G90T processor is working a lot better still. I know people fall for its camera and battery as well, but if you want it only for the camera, go for it. If you are a gamer, Redmi Note 8 Pro is still the best option.
