Xiaomi has been able to garner a huge consumer mass through the success of their Redmi series. The Redmi Note series has been immensely successful with the consumer mass cause of the fact that devices are feature-rich while being extremely reasonably priced. But the Redmi Note 9 series, however, truly disappoints with it5s features and traits. The Redmi Note 9 Max was launched on 12th March 2020. It has a 6.67-inch display with a resolution of 24001080 pixels. It is run by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720g. It has a quad rear camera with the specs of 64MP+8MP+5MP+2MP and a 32 MP front camera. The RAM is 6 GB and the internal storage is 64 GB. The battery capacity is 5020 mAh and it runs on Android 10 Operating system. It is priced at 15k and is available in Aurora Blue, Glacier White and Interstellar Black colours.
The issue I have with the Redmi Note 9 Max is that almost all the features present in this device can be seen in the previous release by Xiaomi - Redmi Note 8 Pro. The only redeeming quality according to me is the battery power of the device. And instead of including some unique features, Xiaomi decided to repurpose the previous features albeit with a weaker chipset and I don’t think that it is fair for its consumers. I would suggest that if anyone wants to procure a device with these features, they would be better off with the Redmi Note 8 Pro, which incidentally also has a better and game-oriented chipset.
