Redmi Note 9 Pro was released on 12th March 2020. It was released with another device, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. It has three variants - 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, 6GB RAM and 128 GB storage and 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage.
Although this series had high expectations associated with it, however it was an unimpressive release.
The features are average and no new specifications have been implemented in it. It has a 6.67-inch display with a resolution of 10802400 pixels. It is run by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720g processor. It has a quad rear camera with 64MP+ 8MP+ 2MP+ 2MP and a 32 MP front camera. The battery power is 5025 mAh and it also supports fast charging(30W).
I think the highlight was the battery power which is a required aspect in any smartphone. However, besides that the other features have been seen in numerous other devices and compared to its predecessor, this series paled in comparison. And the fact that it was integrated with the SD 730g, is not a plus because with a new launch users expect new updated processors as well. Overall, despite being a fan of this series, I think we can skip over this release by Xiaomi.
