I purchased redmi note 4g through online in January’15. Initially the the seemed to be working well. But once I went for software upgrade, the problems started.
The camera would hang when shooting outdoors (sometimes indoors too) . I have to restart the phone to function normally again! I cannot use the mobile while charging as the phone would become very very slow. The camera (13mp) picture quality slowly started degrading to worse after upgrade.
When I went in to MI service center I had bad experience there too. The staffs there are not well qualified to diagnose the exact problems. They advice me to take a back up and go for resetting(flashing) the handset. Which they did by installing the inferior or basic version of software.
But still the problems remain as it is. Now I am under the impression that this handset can never be upgraded at all.
I want to know why the software upgrades are available(by Xiaomi) when they are not suitable for the handset. I would appreciate Xiaomi if kindly attend to these problems.
