I bought redmi y2 at the last flash sale on amazon after that it went to open sale at end of September via amazon pay emi . The phone is launched on July this year and today I will be sharing my experience
pros
=
processor: sd 625 is very stable for mid range phone of course you cannot expect the powerful fast performance like sd 636 or helio p60 but it is a stable and power efficient processor and I also play pubg very well without lagging so gaming performance is also good
No heating as mentioned earlier after playing 20-30 mins of pubg no heating issues
display: I know it is a 6 inch hd+ display not fhd+ but the quality is really good
call quality and sound quality being speakers on bottom side its speaker and microphone is really good compare to other mi phone too
Rear Camera: before update its camera was really good
Update: you will get android pie in this device and currently running on oreo on miui 10.0.8.0 version and security patch also get updated
Cons:
battery not going to stay long if you play games and updated the phone to latest version
Front Camera: 16mp is the only thing good in this front camera quality is not good not bad better than average I would say no ar stickers bokeh mode works fine after update though
Buggy update: I dont know why but mi always push buggy update to redmi y2 to sell note 5 pro more both devices and same camera setup and same sensors but after updated to miui 10 and later with every update camera quality is downgraded in y2 where it is upgraded in note 5 pro and also the battery is draining very fast after 10.0.5.0 update
face unlocking: face unlocking is not secure as we know it but if you are going to use it in this device its a real pain
