Okay now since I have been using redmi y2 for more than 3 months I can talk about this phone. .

Starting with the built quality . Well the phone definitely feels very premium to hold and to see. The back casing or the battery cover cannot be opened like any other redmi phones . You can just say that redmi has done a pretty good job in designing this phone and the materials used in this are significantly good.

Now talking about the interface . When I bought the phone 3 months back I had MIUI 9 . Which is the old user interface used in redmi phones. But recently I got an update for MIUI10 . So if you are buying this phone now you will be getting the latest MIUI 10 pre-installed in your phone. And this interface is really good for the past interface. Redmi has copied the interface a lot from iphone 10s interface . And I guess that is another reason you would be buying this phone.

And now talking about the camera . You get a 16 MP front camera and 12MP + 5 MP dual rear camera . But when it comes to photo or video modes you dont have much except for a portrait mode. But if you are someone who loves to take selfies you have a front flash . So low light selfies shouldn’t be a problem. Apart from this I guess if there were a little more photo and video recording options that would make a perfect camera phone also.

Now lets dive into the performance. Well considering the 3GB RAM and a 32 GB ROM this is a very decent performer and added to that you get a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 . 14mm octa core processor. Which never gives you a chance for any complaints when it comes about performance. And I play pubg and a few other games in this phone and I never faced any difficulty with the phones performance. And yes that 3020mah battery might be a little problem when you are a pro gamer. . And I almost forgot. This phone is does not have a hybrid sim slot this gets a dedicated dual sim and a memory card slot. So that is another reason you can buy this phone

And all other thins like multitasking , managing heavy apps , social media and all this stuff shouldn’t be any problem.
