I have a problem with this movie. And it starts with the name. XXX - what kind of a name is that anyway? Someone asks you, ’’so what movie d’you see?’’ you say, ’’XXX’’, and people give you that look! And of course, you have to give a hasty explanation and convince them that you haven’t started (or gone back to) watching porn. Why did they have to pick such a corny name anyway?!
Then, the movie itself is crap! I can’t believe anyone can take the best of ingredients - Vin Diesel, Ferraris, Corvettes, sportbikes, X-games and beautiful women - and yet churn out such a horribly bad, boring movie! The dialogue is all inane, the stunts are rubbish, there is just no script or story to speak of, and the actors have all sleepwalked through their roles. This movie is a sad joke! Vin Diesel’s acting, in his first movie - Fast and the Furious - was quite ok, but dunno what’s happened to him in this one! Even Samuel L. Jackson, an accomplished actor, has delivered the worst performance ever. Asia Argento, the main female lead opposite Diesel, looks ok in some places, but has no talent whatsoever, for acting.
Save yourself some time, money and effort and give this movie a miss. This one is strictly for teenagers (or should this be pre-teens?) who don’t have a life away from their PCs and playstations...
