The film’s story is not anything New to be mentioned here, its just another ’Save the president’ kinda story. ICE CUBE is in jail for attacking his commanding officer. Samuel L Jackson a spy needs the help of ICE CUBE to save the country.
It has explosive action scenes and unbelievable computer generated stunts in the movie. Comparing this movie with its predecessor XXX by vin diesel will be joking. The movie is titled The next level, but it aint anything close when compared with the First Part.
First Part had some superb stunts and real time graphics, but this flick give us some amusing computer generated stunts.
The way the hero escapes from prison with the help of Samuel Jackson is unbelievable, but looks polished on the screen and the background Rap music giving some healthy dose to the movie.
The action scenes as I mentioned have been made to look polished till the climax, but the climax CG stunt makes u feel its a joke.
The climax
The villain Willem Dafoe (SpiderMan fame) takes the president via a special train from the white house which speeds more than 160 mph, and Mr. Hero chases the train on his car, jumps from the road on to the rail track thereby, losing the tyres and perfectly landing the car on the tracks, sounds like a cartoon Movie??..yeah but the entire climax stunt runs faster like the train and ends with Mr. Hero saving the President by helping him get on a chasing Helicopter .
The president Thanks the unknown hero for saving america and him.
If you really want to enjoy this movie I would recommend that you do not expect anything like the first part, just go out and enjoy the movie’s stunts and music together.
