Subhash Ghai movie .. definitely some expectations were there and somehow I managed to get a ticket for this movie and went with alot of hope that I will definitely enjoy myself .. not because Im a Hrithik fan but I’m aware that Subhash Ghai generally gives good movies ! but I was in for a major disappointment ! The movie starts with Raj (jackie)
who has three daughters avantika , sanya and esha ( kareena)
and their mother ( rati ) dies in a car accident ! Now jackie has never been around for their daughters when his wife was alive looks like cause he is over tensed with the idea of handling his daughters rather being their BEST FRIEND ! BUT .. he is a BEST FRIEND to ronit ( hrithik ) who is the son of his friend !wow! he cant befriend his daughters but he can be a best friend to a friends son ! makes sense !
Jackie gets his daughters to India where the best friend ronit follows .. eventually avantika gets married and then sanya who has a love marriage ! Meanwhile Esha goes for a cycle race to malaysia and ofcourse ronit is there to ! well hes everywhere yaar!
Then she wins the race ( that was obvious ) and she goes to party to tuba island where she falls in deep trouble and who saves her ! oh common guys! ronit ofcourse ! after all best friend ki beti hai ! and guess what ! they fall in love ! wow ! so original !
Now they want to tell jackie their best friend this news ! but he is upset because his daughter sanya comes back and wants a divorce ! so Jackie doesnt believe in love marriages any more and moreover he goes and fixes up his best friend hrithik’s marriage with another millionaire girl ! When the love birds confess about their love to him hes obviously a BIG NO NO because woh hrithik ke family ke ehsaan tale dabe huyehai and hes not as rich as them ! but esha is pappas girl so she understands and doesnt mind not getting married to ronit ! good going girl !
Im bored already writing about the movie ! well we all know whats the end ! dont we ? love survives ! blah blah blah !
Hrithik has acted wellin a few places and hes verytypical all the time twirching his lips ! give us a break please ! but look out for his acting in one scene when hes looking at jim carreysposter and ofcourse the best dancer !Kareena was the ok sorts ! Jackie hasnt done that well ! the song jab dil miley was the only thing I enjoyed in the movie !
and yes if you waste time watching this movie please let me know if you understand where exactly is the family residing in the first half ? I mean jackies family !and please even have the patience to listen to the title song again and again ! subhashji we all know the movies name by now !
