YAADEIN -memories well surely I will have but not at all pleasant
ones.subhash ghais yaadein was a utter disappointment .after all those long days of anticipation
yaadein well fails to impresss.
the story is your usual run in the mill story .
our formula which has been feedin all our hindi movies for decades together....the rich guy Ronit(YUMMY hrithik
who well is geeting predictable) is in love with childhood pal Isha(kareena well no words to express my gross diappointment).Ishas father is raj singh puri(jackie shroff thank gosd he is finally playing his age)who is ronits best buddy and literally seen him grow up.he is a widower whose wife(rati agnihotri she is till gorgeous wasted in a minuscle role) keeps coming back as a spirit ala rani mukherjee in KKHH, (why dont they just leave the dead people alone.his three daughtres and ronit are childhood chums and it takes Isha a odd 20 yers to realise she is in love with Ronit.
but when she finally does realise as usual it is too late .Ronits family arrange his wedding with monishka a very wealthy tycoons beti.all this for savin the company affirs from barbadi they break up poor ROnits affair....well these are some affairs to remember.well after a lot of tears and a lot of usual ladayi and fights the lovers unite ...
Hrithik roshan as the dotcom guy is is very repetitive and unless for the good dances he lacks in every department( I cant belive I am saying this).particularly in the emotional scenes he is a big letdown.kareena well she has nothing much to do anyway.Jackie shroff is quite loud and stiff in many places he fails to leave a mark .neither do the character artist.
the music well the title track is awesome but trust me thats it.but the saving grace is the entire movie has the title song but in different voices and version so that is kind of soothing.
overall YAADEIN memories to cherish ?????well I wish I developed amnesia suddenly and forgot all this as a big, bad dream...
