Edited on 18th May, the mileage and performance so far has been good! The scooter will go for its first service next week and will further add up after it!
Well I bought the scooter 3 weeks ago and all in all I am pretty happy with the performance.
I was going to buy Activa, due to its long term booking and stuffs like that.
I could not wait for more than 6 months to get a scooter, thats what the Honda showroom executive said to me when I went there.
So I went on in search of a scooter that I would get easily and would perform well.
and at the end one of my neighbor bought yamaha alpha Cygnus. So I inquired about the scooter with him and he said it gave him a mileage of nearly 50 before the service and also said that it would increase later on. After services. So I made up my mind and went for alpha.
after 3 weeks of usage I could say that the scooter is pretty cool and does perform to the standards of the company Yamaha. The pick up and extra leg space does help me a lot .
plus the 21 liter space is also a plus point as I could store my helmet which is quite big and half face right under the seat.
As for mileage now in turns I am getting almost 51 kmpl of mileage. I don’t use the highways very much just take it for city rides and getting items from the store. Would add even more after the 1st service and the company’s service too!
I would recommend you to buy this scooter only after I get a good service on my scooter. There is an issue that I am facing now there comes to be a sound thats next to the fan and silencer hope it get rid of it at the first service.
