Good bike

We did 1400 kms on the bike travelling to villages on rough roads. the suspension wasn’t built for the potholes and with my weight of 112KGs and a pillion plus chooks and bags of mangoes and whatever else we could get on it, 60 kph was all she’d cruise on but that was ok. To go faster on Uganda roads is suicide, or maybe it is safer, I couldn’t work that out. Only the pecking order is the rule.

The seat was hard as a rock and the headlight was weak and the clutch felt weak too. It shuddered a bit taking off loaded up, ( probably can’t blame it though. I grew up with dirt bikes as a farmers son and there is a huge difference between Jap bikes and this one but the price is very good and apart from a few loose bolts that the sellers forgot to tighten, it was good. But we only loaded it up, there was no monos or dohnuts. Like I said, only 1400 kms before we left and handed it to our friend. It is still going well at 2500 kms though. The chain stretches easily and the cables you can see that they are cheap. About to the litre but that was not always in t and usually carrying a load.
