I own a 135 and this review is a way to show my regard to this make. its been 11 yrs (sept - 1999 model) and its still strong. last year i got its piston changed for the 2nd time and should say nothing much has changed. its a rugged bike, there was a time when on many occasion I never got it serviced for over 8 to 9 months and still it never let me down. its run 2 lakh 84 thousand + kms and still its very fast/solid. its pick up and stability at high speeds(80 presently) is excellent. Its been 11 yrs and recently I got an offer of 20k but no. Its become a part of me/my family.
I should say I am a very rough rider, I ride fast, not really bothering about potholes, speed breaker, maneuver through lanes, traffic and for the type of riding I do, basically rash, this type of bike really suits. I dont think any other bike would have withstood the rough handling. its class on its own, and I think its passed a phase of ranks and comments/complaints, now its time to only share its values. The 2 stroke has phased out of Indian market and this ones become a all time fav in this segment.
11 yrs of service and 2 Lakhs 84 Thousand Kms is very good for a bike and its been there all through the time without any trouble. I have the original fittings and nothing much has been modified except for a 3.00 rear wheel instead of a 2.75, this I feel gives a better grip. apart from this nothing much has changed.
So for guys who own it! be proud of it! and for who want to get it, try getting the one with original fittings without too many modifications. Its worth an assert in 2 stroke segment, the pleasure of riding a 2 stroke is completely diff as compared to an 4 stroke.
