This bike have same 249 cc single cylinder SOHC ‘Bluecore’ engine that belts out 20.9 PS of power at 8, 000 rpm and 20 Nm of torque at 6, 000 rpm. The Bluecore technology increases combustion and cooling efficiency, and reduces power loss. Yamaha has tuned the engine for smooth power curve and initial torque to suit the Indian traffic conditions.
