I have a fazer 153 cc air cooled engine bike and I am riding this from April 2010.I have travelled with this bike 63450Km till date.So let’s begin it’s pros and cons.Pros: 1. It gives a mileage of 40kmpl in city and 45kmpl in highways, average is 40-42kmpl. Also it gives 40kmpl when you ride the bike above 90kmph speed in long ride.So I think it gives best mileage in this section of bikes.2. It’s sitting position is very good and handle position is very very good. You don’t need to bend to ride this machine. So you can ride this bike non stop for 4 hours. I have ride this bike almost 240 km in 4hrs without stopping many times from my job place( TEZPUR, ASSAM) to hometown( NAZIRA, ASSAM) and road is not very good condition. So I can say best comfort this bike provides us.3. It’s very reliable, till date I have not faced any engine problem, pick up problem, braking problem, chain noise probelm( which all bajaj bike gives after running around 18000 km) and no problem have faced in my all journeys. So its a really reliable machine.4. Road grip is also nice with MRF Revz 140/60 R17 Tubeless Tyre( Rear) and Mrf Zapper100/80-R17 Tubeless Tyre( Front) . I have faced many situations to apply brakes above 70-80kmph speed but bike didn’t skid with this flat tyres. So awesom grip it provides.5. Bike appeal is very good with semi fairing dual lamp headlight. Dual lamp provides better vision in night ride.6. Its power is very good, you can easily overtake a car/bike running 80kmph with a pillion rider which many bikes can’t do it smoothly. It’s top speed is 125KMPH( I have got) .Cons: 1.It has only one con I have faced till date, Pillion rider seat is not comfortable for a long ride.If u travel less than 20km then pillion rider seat is ok. But in long ride pillion’s feet will getting little bit pain.Besides this it’s maintenance cost is not high. I have replaced only chain sprocket set( 1700Rs with parts price and fitting) last year after running 54000KM. Till now I have changed only 2 front and 2 rear tyre.Lastly I can say that yamaha has made again a superb smooth bike in fazer series. Someone can go blindly for this bike.I am feeeling PROUD to say as a YAMAHA FAZER 153 OWNER.
