This is my third Bike, previously I owned a Yamaha YBR 125. But last Year I was meet an accident and sold out my old bike and brought Fazer on October’ 2012.
The new bike is excellent regarding comfort & road grip. Already I had completed 5000 kms with this bike. Engine sound gives smooth reply even high speed. The instant pick-up is lesser than any other 150 cc bikes, but its gives constant acceleration with same pickup in throttle. The pillion rider feel much more comfortable (my wife) than my old bike.
Maximum time I ride this bike for my office and distance of office is 46 km from my home, I feel better in compare with my YBR125 and Glamour too. The big bike have problem of low mileage. My earlier bikes gives me 65 kmpl and above, but hardly its gives more than 50kmpl in long journey only. Still I have not tuned the bike oil point supply, hope it will not differ. Another thing I would like mentioned that with low pressure on rear wheel the mileage of bike drops exceptionally upto 35kmpl. So, I have always try to maintain the proper pressure on both of the wheels.
The new Model has come with Kick Start which gives you more reliability to start the engine in cold condition.
The dual headlights gives me clear & wide visibility in darkest corner of the road during night.
Braking and Road grip of the bike is excellent, the wide rear Tyre is excellent and drum break at rear wheel gives a smart performances all the times. Recently an old lady came in between the road and that time I was on more than 70 kmph. But, fortunately I was able to stop my bike within 2 seconds and few meters only.
Seating position is ergonomically designed for Indian standard, as per my views this bike is ideal for upto 6’ 2" height.
The look of the bike is apart from any other (except Yamaha R15) fully digital meter gives the feeling of Gen Next. When you ride this bike you can feel the excellence of Yamaha.
