Yamaha Fazer - The Best at 150cc segment

Let me share my 6 months experience with Fazer to all you guys.I bought this bike on March 13th in Pondicherry for 72k.The price is comparatively less than all other cities. As like everyone, I got all the advise/instructions from service centre regarding the initial drive, speed, oil change and service.

The bike was very comfort and smooth that I have never felt on any recent 150cc bikes, It was simply superb. I felt like something flying in air, such a smooth drive. The very next day we plan to take the bike to Bangalore and the best part is, we drove the bike from Pondy to Bangalore (320 km)at the speed of 45-55km/hour. Believe it or not, I got an average mileage about 55-58km/litre(only at my first drive, but not now ;-)).

The bike was very smooth, good suspension, good mileage and awesome look.

No wonder in Bangalore traffic, I got an average mileage of 48-49km/litre. After my first service, I disappointed very much, because my bike got only 36-38km/litre. Just I got confused where the problem is?Was it the problem of service centre or petrol bunk.No clue.

Tank capacity is 12 litres, and in reserve its only 1.5 litres. Very less fuel capacity at both the end.

In the last six months, I went 4 times in bike to Coimbatore, which is 360km far from Bangalore. The maximum speed I reached was 127km/hour and average speed of 95km/hour in highways. I had never faced any problem till date. After my 2nd service, the mileage got increased.Probably for a litre it may get 45km and plus.

There is no major vibration problem when you are driving at high speed. I got a small vibration when the speed is 58km. Once I crossed 60km speed, no vibration. Then I got vibration again at 87-88km speed. Even I tried to check further an raised to90+ speed, vibration was there but it was very low and I felt the major vibration when I crossed 120km speed.

Hope that, the brief description of this bike and its mileage helps you.

The stylish look of this bike may felt you like a rock star. But the problem is when you are in traffic, you may find some difficulty when you are moving towards ahead.

On my highways driving experience, the driving position and driver seat is perfect. I never felt any kind of back pain or discomfortness. But the pillion is seat to very small when we compare to all other bikes. The pillion seater may feel discomfort at some occasion.

Overall, you can competete any 150/180cc bikes in highways.

The tubeless tyres are really fantastic. More grip even when you are turning ur bike at 45 degree postion or less than that.

After crossing 100+ speed and all rash drivings(including mud roads), still my bike gets around 45-48km per litre. Very smooth engine and less maintenance charge.

Price is the only concern, rest no matters to Fazer.

Overall Fazer defeats any 150/180cc bikes.

Am proud to be a Fazer owner. Yamaha rocks at all time.

Hi Friends,

Have crossed a year with this Muscular, runs more than 11000 kms.. Now I would like to describe some more information on my recent drive.

At First, it gives an average mileage of around 42km at the average speed of 60-70kmph. As I already mentioned, am the highway driver, drives very often about 400kms, till date I didnt face any backpain or discomfort with this bike. The Engine sound is very smooth when compare to other bikes.

The bike’s ground clearance is too low, so the bike stand will rubs the surface at most of the speed breakers which makes terrible. And its bit difficult to handle the bike in a huge traffic when your side mirror does not fits into the gap.

No major negative points from myside. No need of any updated version for this bike. The existing owners will defenitely feels the power and stability of this bike.

Thanks as of now.
