Naked commuter

Yamaha FZ V3 comes with a redesigned fuel tank, which appears to be a bit larger now with new sharper-looking tank extensions below. Another major change, of course, is the new single-piece seat, unlike the two-piece seat in the outgoing model, which will lead to a more comfortable seating position and will also be more pillion-friendly. The bike also comes with an updated tail section with new single piece grab-rail and revised taillamp. Among other features, the bike now also features a new tyre-hugger, a new beefier exhaust pipe with dual tone black and gunmetal treatment. The alloy wheels are also new and also new 10-spoke alloy wheels, which look like 17-inch units.Other changes that we expect to see will include a new instrument cluster, possibly an all-digital LED unit similar to the one on the new YZF R15 V3 that was launch early this year. Come April 2019, all new two-wheelers with displacement equal to or more than 125 cc will compulsorily need to have ABS and going by this, we believe Yamaha will offer ABS as standard fitment right from the launch itself. Of course, it could be a single-channel unit to keep the costs down.Powering the new bike will be the same 149 cc single-cylinder, fuel injected motor that powers the existing model.
