Yamaha FZ-S

Despite being in the market for a while, the Yamaha FZ-S still manages to turn heads, thanks to Yamaha taking some effort to keep this bike looking fresh with new graphics and paint schemes.

The Yamaha FZ-S is a slickly designed product with just the right amount of muscle for a rider looking for something in the 150-200cc motorcycle segment. The chunky tank, aggressive side profile and stepped seat create a look that reaches out to the hooligan within riders.

The FZ-S is a proven performer and has been attractive for a wide range of consumers so far. The midship exhaust has a nice grunt and allows the engine to run with as little back pressure as possible. Climb onto the riders seat and sculpted fuel tank that helps anchor rider’s knees firmly in place, all the more better for riding through the corners faster. The monoshock suspension at the rear is mated to the telescopic front offers excellent damping and is a tad stiff which can be both equally good or bad depending on how you ride. On the other side of 90kmph, that setup is magic though and helps keep the bike firmly in its lane. Helping out are excellent MRF tyres with the rear 140/60 shouldering more than its share to responsibility to keep things safe.
