After reading many FZites experience I felt I could contribute some of my experience..I bought my FZ on 28th december...had done 2600 kms till now and 2 services....As many of u had said this is the bike which turns heads...definitely male is "the" caption that suits it like no other bike does...
First of all the positive pointsRiding is all easy...hyderabad roads are notorious for all the bumps but this bike makes it look as if its flying. Pickup..amazing...leaves all the bikes near the traffic signals to dust...i had lot of races with this bike wid & only zma coming nearing the potential handling..cornering is gr8 even at speeds of 40 to 50...
Gear changing is butter smooth...amateurs can also find it real easy..Looks are the best part..my friend and I took bikes at the same time...he was laughing that I had taken FZ as it was from yamaha..he took CBZ ...after some days he realised the mistake when whole of my hostel mates including gals were looking at my bike... could smell the burning sensation in his face...i guess he wasn’t laughing then..also had a race wherein his bike pickup was exposed in a brutal way...
Headlight is gr8..unique and powerful...did a night journey and the experience was awesome...The wide handle bar is another boon...upright seating position wid this handle bar makes for a clear viewing ....
now for the cons
fuel consumption...i still feel this is not that of a negative point..gives a decent 40 to 42...well it depends upon one’s driving also...
leg guard..very important component...can get it but can compromise the looks a little....
still have to see abt the fuss regarding kickstart...
as someone earlier mentioned parking in tight spaces is a worry...need to go back and forth a lot to finally park it...

i have one more thing to say...my bike is developing some kinda screeching noise when I go alone(without a pillion) at a certain speed for every gear...once I cross that speed it gives me that sound and goes on for a cartain speed and then stops...if there is a pillion rider then there is no noise at all...well I checked my friends bike and hes not getting that problem...i went to the service center....the guys there couldn’t diagnose the problem...if any of u guys could help me it would really help me a lot...
rest apart this bike’s a class...i sincerely recommend neone interested in taking a new bike to go for it... happy riding..
