Well, to start with, I must say that I am not a professional rider and neither I own any bike and not to mention but it is my first review. It’s because I like to read reviews rather that writing it but after I rode this bike I didn’t stop my self to write one..now coming to the point my friend bought this bike last month and yesterday he gave me to have ride of 85kms on ahmedabad-baroda NH. Firstly, when I sat on the bike, it gave me a perfect position to drive it.when I switch on the bike..the refinement of the engine came straight into my mind(hats off to yamaha). I took the first gear and accelerated with full throttle. My friend was sitting b/h me and he noticed the time it took to cross 60km/hr.
Believe me, it took approx 6.5sec with a weight carrying around 150kg(me + my frnd).it cross 90km/hr with no time. I felt little vibration b/w 90-100km/hr but as soon as it crossed 100km/hr I didn’t noticed any vibration..the max speed I was able to reach was 118km/hr (speedo reading) which actually might be 1-2km/hr less of what it was showing and bilieve me if you are a good rider then you can easily cross 125km/hr(single rider).
The bike does gave enough power in it. Now to talk about the handling it was more than awesome. You can really slice off any traffic in ur city with perfection.well I have rode almost all the good bikes across the country but believe me this bike has no comparison.fuel efficiency....its killing man..this can really hurt u if u have an orthodox mentality. When I rode this bike it gave me 38km/litr on highway and 30km/litr in city condition but I personally think it all depends upon the rider and u can have atleast 15-18km/litr increase in it.This bike look likes beast with beauty.seriously what an artistic excellence yamaha has developed.everything in this bike is just perfect(from headlight to the rear tire).
Well well well its tractor ka pahiya..now one thing I must mention here is that if u want to compare this bike then compare it with below 200 cc bikes but not above.this bike cost arnd 74k which I think is little bit costly as compare to the feature yamaha is giving but never mind this bike overshadows all this things..My final verdict a must have bike and a clear winner in all aspects to its <200cc competitor.
And I think that’s the wrong title for this bike"THE LORD OF THE STREETS" It should be rather"THE LORD OF THE ROADS"..ENJOY RIDING
