Not!! Much impressed.

From past 4-5 years yamaha is lacking a bike in the 200/250 cc segment. In india the 200cc segment is growing enormously and mostly this segment is rule by pulsars and ktm’s entry level performance bikes. Yamaha thereafter launch it in this segment especially for indian customers. Heres how it specifications.

Engine- engine is all new 249cc single cylinder mated to 5- speed gears( seriosly they shud put 6th too) . Engine is fi as well as gud refinement as we all know yamahas engines.

Power- bikes produces 20.9 bhp with 20.8 nm of torque. Where u get good pickup in the early rpms bt lacks to get top speed due to its 20 bhp power even less than old pulsar 220f.

Handling- in this category yamaha always works gud as there bikes are well balanced and feel confidence in cornering with the body weight of bikes is 148 kgs.

Tyres/brake system- new fz250 comes up with mrf revz tyres which r pretty gripy. apart from that it get disc brakes on both end sadly no ABS.

Pricing- Fz250 is priced starting from 119000rs for standard and goes further for high model. Pricing is gud one can go for it as we all know how loyal yamahas engines compare to bajajs.

My opinion- I dont think yamaha is come upto the needs of indian customer. Coz with dat low power output with 250cc no one can buy. We wants some good performance bike in 200/250cc segmnt which can rival the ktm’s and pulsars. But if ur not a power rider just likes to cruze in the streets then go for it.
