I have covered 15000 KMs in my new silver Yamaha Glady Enigma version.
AS it is in running in period, I have not exceeded 50 KMPH. Mileage I get is around 55 kmpl in chennai city traffic.
Pros:
very smooth engine
good handling in traffic conditions
good self start
excellent braking and stability
decent mileage of 55 so far
Cons:
The heel(rear) gear lever is set very low. hard to shift UP gears
Metallic rattlings heard sometimes
Left hand side switches are not placed properly
When you reach 50 KMPH, the bike tempts you to rev for more.
to set right the engine in running in period, I am holding back my urge to push my glady beyond 80 KMPH mark:(
Suspension is very good for chennai road conditions.
Lighting is good.
It s a good buy for the price we pay.
It is cheaper than TVS Flame, HH Glamour and Honda Shine.(I enquired all the on-road prices)
Than SS and RS models, I prefer the DLX/Graffiti models because of the practicality.
