I am indeed a proud owner of Yamaha Gladiator sine june 2006, I am among the early buyers of gladi, when it was launched and still had to prove its credentials
Till date I have been very happy with the bike..though I have driven only 13000 kms in 3 years.. still the build quality and engine performance is good.Though on mileage front, I think I am getting an low average of around 45km/litre, but I am not complaining about it.
The problem I have is that the silencer of the bike started rusting after1.5 yrs only. This despite of the fact that in 3 years the bike has been teflon coated 6 times. And last week while driving the rusted portion of the silencer fell off .Will soon upload pics of the same.
I wanted to know, if there is any way by which I can bring this to notice of Yamaha Motors. I showed this to Venkatesha Yamaha at Hyderabad from where I bought this bike.. and they say that it is a common complaint, but I have not seen any other Gladiator with rusted silencer, they say u have to get it replaced. But this is a serious quality issue.
Anybody who can guide me on this.. would appreciate their input.
