After 24000 kms & 3 years 8 months (28June2012) :
Gladi going well but I think mileage is down. I will calculate the mileage and let you know in next few days.
*After 4th servicing: 2years back
Gladi is doing well, this time yamaha guys put Yamalube’s Synthetic oil(Rs.415) into it.. I think it improve pick-up a quite lot.. satishfied with gladi.. no problems at all.. *Not calculating the mileage due to salary hike.
After 3 servicing:
This time, I given the bike to Yamaha’s own service center at Wakadwwadi Pune.. after servicing felt like, They have done nice work and good washing too. I had bad experience with Vitiese for last two servicing.. they dont clean the chain & not even lubricate it. when I asked them to do so.. they replied there is no need.. but chain was having dust on it. But when I reported problem here in YIMP, they hav lubricated it and adjusted well. but charged me Rs.75 for chain lubrication.(Money doesn’t matter if service is too well). Now I have done 4800km.
Completed 2nd servicing 2 month back.. now I have done 4100km I my glady.. its running nicely..
giving me 50-60 kmpl mileage (depeding on my mood / circumstances of driving)
After 1st servicing : Went to workshop for 1st servicing on Sat6th Dec, but mechanics told that are too busy and ask me to come onmonday(bcoz Sunday off). Office people do have problem with theseSunday off. So I just changed the oil & went on Sat 13 Dec forservicing at 10am.. but again these guys told me to leave the bike andcome in evening.. I met other 1 gladi owner.. he have bad experiencethan me.. I am getting the mileage of 60 Kmpl ( I wil elaborate thereview soon )
2nd review after a week : I got 56Kmpl mileage in first 250km inPune city.. bike is running nicely.. but Gladi needs frequent Gearchange.. (I dont know it may because of my driving habit.) Now I mcomfortable with Gear shift padel.. pickup is good easily touching thespeed of 55 (at 4k rpm in 5th gear). I m not familiar with seat.. bcozhandel bar in quite up-front, I m seating near to petrol tank. I willshift handle bar back-down in 1st servicing for seating comfort.
On the 1 st Day : Today I have brought Gladi Yellow/Silver at 52700 with free Crash Gaurd & Buzzer in Pune..
I ride it 30 Km.. I’m feeling that it have excellent stability & controlling.. On the first day my highest speed was 55Km.. just cudn’t resist it to 40s bcoz of my riding habits. My first 10 km went on Pune to Warje on highway.
we hav to shift it into 5th just after 40km/h speed.. I though it will take 50+ for 5 th gear.. I have used HH Splendor for 5 yrs.. stolen 2 yrs back. I had little back pain on first day on my Gladi. I think its bcoz of my mistake not bcoz of bike. I was very auspicious & not feeling comfortable bcoz I driven it without having number on it.. dealer told to wait for a week for RTO registration.
