Good sports bike

I bought a "Gladiator ss" in june 2008 from Panache motors Indira Nagar Bangalore, rided for 16000 KMs. Initially due to some manufacturing defect in electrial circuits the bike used to go off in moderate rainfall itself. Eventhough I reported this problem to the dealer many times I could not get a solution and only struggling was the result. Finally when I threatened them that I defame yamaha’s image they corrected the electrical circuit problem.

But still there was an another manufacturing defect that was back tyre. Since I was using it with rash driving I did not observe that there was a light problem which spoils your smooth drive in constant speed between 50-60 per hour. But it is not a big issue.

The worst part of Panache yamaha dealer is their service. They don’t even listen what you complain and do some water wash and charge you for the complete service. for example when I complained about smooth ride due to tyre defect, they charged me for wheel alignment without identifying that minor tyre problem.

Even after all these problems I still find my bike is better in 125CC bikes. Because,

  1. Breaking is very nice.

  2. Mileage is around 50KM even in worst roads.

  3. pickup is very convincing.

  4. ergonomics is good.

if you could find a good dealer who will response in case of problem or going with somebody who has better experience in bikes then gladiator SS would be the better bike compared to all other bikes as per high way riding is concerned.

If you a moderate height person from a city like bangalore then ensure that you can land both feet comfortably at the same time.

Better luck with your new bike.
