Well I dont own a libero but a close friend of mine own one, so based upon his experience I am telling you all something the not noticed while buying the bike or reading the reviews of Libero.
Mileage:- the most important thing in this segment. the mileage is above 60 kmpl under normal riding conditions.BUT this comes at expense as for better mileage company tunes the bike at very lean mixture i.e very little petrol is supplied to the engine from carburetor. So the bike has cold start problem. Now tuning the bike for better supply of petrol decreases the mileage depending upon setting.
torque:- the bike has a well spread torque but only with single man riding. When riding with two the bike blows i.e you will never get adequate pick up. this is a problem not noticed by anyone and after buying the bike starts scolding the bike when a spendor , passion overtakes you. This problem is not curable.
These are the two major problems in Libero but this does not mean that it is not a good bike.
it should be your choice when you are a Yamaha lover and doesnt really cares about few problems. Also when you a tall man, the bike is for you.
The libero looks great(no doubt)that I also loves its looks and lines but second problem really matters for me so I will recomend to wait and buy Kinetic VELOCITY!!!!!!!!!!!
Shocked!! yes the bike is now launced and offers 115 cc engine, 8.6 bhp, 9 Nm of torque. the bike looks great and has same king size as of Libero. the pickup is great and mileage will range in between 57-67 kmpl..
