Unethical Service Center MRPC Yamaha, Ludhiana

I got my Yamaha R15 serviced on 11 September from MRPC Expo Pvt Ltd, Ludhiana. They are authorized Yamaha Dealers and the only one in Ludhiana. I towed my bike to their Service center because my Fuel Tank had some water and it was unable to start. When Service inspection employee checked my bike, he simply tell me that my Fuel Pump might have damaged along with Injectors. It may cost me around 12000 to get new ones. Then I asked about repairs and they quoted me 5000.

After a long argument they said they will fix my Pump for 3500. I was really not sure if my Pump had any problem or not. One guy among them took my Fuel Pump out and went somewhere. He came back with my Pump after 3 hours.(at around 1:30 PM). He fixed the Pump inside the tank, cleaned the Injectors and then my bike revved properly. After 10-15 minutes Pump went down again. Again this guy left somewhere and came back after 2 hours. He said that I need to pay him 800 extra personally for these services because he has paid the electronic repair guy from his pocket.

Then he gave me his personal number so that I can bypass Yamaha and get my bike repaired/serviced in future from him. They made a whopping 6775 bill(attached) in which they have charged me 3500 only for Fuel Pump fix which they didn’t mention properly in Bill. I paid Rs 500 extra from my pocket personally to one of their employees too as he was asking 800. They simply looted me because I was helpless. Last year also, they fixed my Pump for only Rs 700 but that Branch has closed now. It was a smaller branch of MRPC on Pakhowal Road and a guy named SUNNY fixed my bike. While getting my bike serviced, Service Manager constantly kept pushing service guy to hurry up as other bikes were awaiting getting serviced. This has lead to substandard service. My bike has run only 17000 KM and I have got my Pump repair twice. Their customer lounge was in Pathetic situation, Had no AC, TV working. All petrol smoke was coming inside. Staff was rude, arrogant and very non-friendly. When I came back home, my Bike start behaving awkwardly and now after reading some blocks I got to know that TAPPET adjustment need to be done. I run my business and time is very precious for me. I don’t have time to go there again and get that fixed. My point is, after spending whopping Rs 7000, I am not at all satisfied with the work done and I would never recommend Yamaha in Ludhiana to anyone. MRPC are bringing bad name to Yamaha and a day will come when nobody will buy a single Yamaha Bike in Ludhiana.
