Launched in 1985 stunned the indian roads still lives in the hearts of millions of indians ready to challenge all the new generation bikes vroooommmm.


i want everybody to ask u one thing why despite so many bikes in indian market why rx 100 dominates above all. Born on 1985 still lives . can u list any bike that have lasted more than 25 years and is still going on not matched by even the present yamaha bikes. I will show u the answer.

  1. 2 -stroke

Anyway 2 s is more powerful than 4s.The power stroke of 2s piston is twice than that of 4s.A 100 cc 2 stroke is  able to challenge twice than that of 4 stroke ccs. 2s is having less moving parts hence less weight, therefore its power to weight ratio will be high, means more power less weight.thats why 2s dominates the 4s.

  1. Japanese tech

One of the main reason for the success of yamaha rx 100. when u r at a speed of 60 kmsperhour u feel to accelerate even more, that shows its stability in any of the indian road conditions. u cant feel it any of the present bikes.


Every single nut is made from japan that shows its advanced tech not seen on todays bikes. All the prsenet manufactures especially bajaj is cheating the indian custumers in terms of advanced tech. Actually they repalaced FI with carburetor. Thats how their reasearch and development goes.


3.Power


Its really unfair to describe abt the rx 100 performance, every body knows.its a  power commuter, power increases  according to our wish. 11.5 bhp at 5500 rpm is the stock performance of this bike. if u want to beat p220 do the following modifications


a) port it and put oversize piston - will release 19 bhp at 5500 rpm, mind it its a 2stroke


by doing this iam damn sure it will smoke out p220 in any whatever conditions whether in drag or city riding. Even a guy having p220dtsi offered rs 45000 for my yam rx 100 seeing my bike turbo.


b)Put imported Boysean Reed Fibre Reed Valves . u will notice its acceleration better than stock. It will move before u release the clutch .It will wheelie if u release the clutch suddenly. From 0 it dramatically accelerates to 80 kmphr within 5 secs. Incredible right.


c) Air filter - The filter I will say yes/no. The  power increases by almost 1% by using k and n filter. its for the rider to decide  depending upon the budget.If u want an attractive sound then it is the way to go.


d) Aftermarket combustion chamber- put high end torque providing combustion chamber. It increases ur bike torque by            almost 25% also increases top speed to a limit.


e) sprocket and chain-


Its for u to decide whether u need top speed or intial.Sprocketing is the process of replacing one/both sprockets with ones that have more or less teeth.The ratio of the teeth between the front and      rear sprocket determine how your engines power translates to the rear wheel.Changing the front sprocket is usually    pretty dynamic so I recommed you to focus on the rear.Adding teeth to the rear will increase top  speed.Loosing teeth off the rear  will give u more accleration.


f) More compression-


The compression ration tells you how much the air-fuel mix is being squeezed in the combustion chamber. The tighter the sqeeze, the more heat and pressure can be generated and thus more power. Too much is again bad this is experts only.


g) Fat sparks


Since the spark creates the whole bang thing. a fatter one is the obviously better, A whole bunch of aftermarket ignition system work towards that very purpose. Consider upgrading spark plugs along with the system.


Upjet ur carburetor to account for greater air flow(using KN filter)


Performance exhaust will allow you to use the pulses of the exhaust gases to create extra torque/power.But this needs to be done correctly otherwise the engine goes bang.

  1. Handsomelook.

No doubt girls will prefer boys riding on a rx.simple handsome attractive look.

  1. Handling

It is unsafe to ride an rx in gutter dusty roads at over a speed of 60kmhr. Anyway to increase its stabiliy change to yezdi rims and try bigger tyres > 3.00.you will see the road grip than any of the todays bikes.Person at back will feel more comfortable and safe than pulsar or apache.It is safe for the girls to sit at back.


Perfect handler in any of the indian road conditions.  Lighting is poor in rx 100 so to increase its lightening use halogen bulb minimum of 30 watts u will definetly feel the difference.


I have a yam rx 100 25 years old done retest and all the modifications


clocked 10000kms not even done a single servicing ready as stock to flyoff to challenge all the present bikes .


Do u know why mudracers use rx 100 as performance bike . why they r not using the so called fastest indian etc the reason  because its YAMAHA RX 100.
