The Legend called RX100

I was in college when I got my first  rx100 in 1995 it was 1992 model badly maintained by the previous owner.i had it serviced by the authorised dealer in Pondy and bike came to look like new.it had terrific pick up that as a new owner could not handle.it would go on a wheelie if careless with the accelerator.

I had lots of thrill chasing other bikers and challenging them.i would show off in front of girls and go to girls college just to show off my ride.My parents decided to give it away after a few accidents by me due to rash driving.I later bought a suzuki samurai as there were no rx100 in production and the new rxg was a failure.i was completely bored by the samurai.it was a dull machine.

I went overseas and came to indiaonly after many years in 2007 and bought a victor but I did  not get any riding thrills.i immediately traded it with a second hand dealer for a 1991 yamaha rx100.it seemed out of shape and no maintenance but I wanted it no matter what.i bought it and found the engine oil was like slush, the air filter decomposed and only black soot was there.I flushed the old oil and put new castrol oil, fixed new air filter and new plug.Immediately I found the engine beat changed to the typical rx100 tone.Luckily the electricals was 12v.i changed the bearings, brakes, chain, sprokets, speedometer, head lamp and chain cover. Now my 1991 rx100 is looking new and its giving an average  of 42 kmpl.i love the bike.
