Feeling Great to join the RX family! As like you guyz have been proud of a RX owner, Im the same too.Yes, Ihave been with my best friend, YAMAHA - RX135, for the past 2 yrs. Bought a 1999 year model with half condition and tried few modifications and adjustments to tune it to my tatse.
This phenomenal product from YAMAHA with simple sleak design will never upsets you in whatever you are expecting from him.
Things to note:
#1 Carbureator should be maintained as clean and dust free to avoid drop in FE
#2 Since RX can be kick started at any gear level and BTW, you can drive ur m/c in 3rd geer at low rpm which most of us feels great abt this motorcycle, may lead to clutch plate damage!.
#3 Adjust 2t oil pump to maintain required inflow once you done ur modifications on the m/c (you can minimise the flow after ur m/c have been set with the changes u made).
#4 Do check the spark plugs frequently.
Shorten the handle-bar, change the mufler to get roaring sound as lllr as rx100, clean the carburator once in a 6 month, change the engine oil appropriately vis-a-vis ur usage, make sure about consistent 2T oil flow to the m/c and thats it.
You dont need any other companion as good as RX.. It will beat all; along the road!
Enjoy Riding RX folks!
