Yamaha rx 135
The bike I always wanted(for racing and wheeling)
You won’t believe once I said to my friend ’’I wish I had a rx 135 or rxz’’, god heard me and after around 10 days my bros. Friend came and handed over him the keys of his rx-135 (as he was goin to his village), well only for a month.
Oh man, its like a dream coming true next morning when I went to school with this bike almost every friend of mine made fun of this bike, probably because of the looks (I know they are fools, screw them) until I challenged cbz guy
This bike has a solid pick - up (CAUTION : DONT MESS WITH THIS VERY THIN LOOKIN BIKE, IT KICKS BUTT)
I have even beaton cbz and pulsars with this killin machine
with,
14.2 bhp and 5 gears this bike can be called a 133cc rocket
The top speed I achieved was around 87 kmph(it was a 9 yr old bike and I m sure it can go over that
also)
Seats and Cusion : very soft but not much comforting
Looks and Styling : lookin at this one can imagine how dated and rural u can be, the looks are killin this bike.
Engine and transmission : engine is dated 2 stroke but VERY effective. The sound of this bike is hearting its like a spots bike.
And and the gears are slick... but as a very old bike doesnt comes in nuetral that easily its good this bike can be started in any gear.............
Fuel effciancy : well it gave around 35 kmpl if u race it 2 much but gives 40-45 at a speed of 40-50 kmhr
Brakes: hmmmmmmmmmmmm OK
Chasis and build : its a very thin bike and wieghs only 105 kgs, even girls who prefer splendor as
a light wieght vehicle can also go for this one.
Build is also good one.the parts still dont move to make a cunning noise.
Long lastin : though it was a 9 yr old bike. speedo and odo meter were still workin fine.
Overall this bike is a very good product from leagendry YAMAHA
But I was shoked when I learned the fact that yamaha still manufactures this bike as an upgrage.The upgrade remains mechanically unaltred u just get a new yamaha logo and disc brakes.
I dont know about now.but yamaha really touched heartswhen this bike ruled the indian market. Watchin old indian flims(1990-99)is a good example of that when hero of the film was generally featured on this bike(its now CBZ)
But in todays era of 4-stroke, buying the brand new version of this bike would be a stupidity, it costs around rs. 52, 422 on-road(bhopal). And u get a mileage of maximum 45kmpl
I wished YAMAHA would have gone for a 4-stoke ver. of this bike.
It would have been a great competition for ambition and other bikes above 125 cc
But it would be good choice if you look for the second hand version.
