I bought Yamaha SZ-R (Red) on Feb 25 Friday.
Show room people delivery the bike before the committed date, so am happy about that, delivery process too went very nice. I got bike from Panache Motors, CMH road, Bengaluru. About bike, its awesome bike. Looks are great, very comfortable, smooth clutch and gears. You will feel to go for one more round.
I rode the bike from Bengaluru to my home town, while I was on my rain came, but I couldn’t stop. In three days I almost covered 300 kms. Maintaning a speed of around 40 to 50 km/h.
About bike:
- Looks are very good, on roaders turned their attention on bike... many people asked info about bike.
many praised/appreciated.
- comfort : its wider seat and seating position would give the rider and pillion comfortable seating.
you can go for long rides without hesitation and its very suits both city and highway riding.
performace : I am pretty satisfied with the performance of the bike. Its low rpm would gives a better pickup. even with pellion you won’t feel gerks or any issues. I will move very smootly such that you will never find any difference either single rider or with pellion.
Mileage : since its very new I cannot comment on this. Show room folks tells that it will give a mileage of 50 km/h guarantee, but you can expect b/w 45 to 50. Not sure for now as bike is very new.
Bike come around an on road price of 67, 700 including accessories(crash guard, petrol tank lock, handle crippers). You can opt for Kicker with around 2k extra. but when I asked them for kicker they told stocks yet to come, may expect in another 2 months, this is bit paining but I think you can manage with self start till then, I would recommend to go for self+kick start.
Its my first bike and am very new to Yamaha. However I feel its value for the money (considering its comfort, handling, style, looks, performance, mileage).
I will be very happy if I get mileage of 50kmpl as promised.
