Unacceptable, unethical response from the yamaha dealer - Bikerz Nanganallur.
I was impressed by yamaha sz-r bike and thought of booking one for me. One of my friend had recently bought a yamaha bike from PARAS, Yamaha Mount Road showrooms and he gave a positive feedback of the dealer. He also advised me to go PARAS. Since I live in Nanganallur, I thought let me buy from nearby dealer itself. (I did not knew that this is biggest mistake I am doing)
I booked my bike in Bikerz nunganallur and paid a advance money as well. The reception was very good and they committed me that in weeks time, I would getting the bike. they said they would give me a call in a week. I was very happy man.
I did not receive any call from them in 1st week. Another week went by. After 2 weeks, when I went to ask about the status. They told me that I have wait for another 2 weeks time as the stock will come only by them.
I was really disappointed with the response and behaviour.
1) Why did they commit to me in first place?
2) Why I wasnt informed about this? They did not even had courtesy to call me inform this to me. They were waiting till I went to them to check.
3) The most unacceptable answer was. The person said, you wait for another 2 weeks time or else you take your advance money back.
I noticed another thing in the showroom that I was not the only person who was fighting with them. There was another customer to whom they had committed bike delivery and fail to keep up the commitment.
Really this sought of behaviour will lead to no where.
I am really disappointed with them. I am also thinking of should I go for yamaha or buy some other bike.
I am currently using hero honda and I never found any service issue with them.
