I am riding the SZ-X since January 2011, got delivery on 27th Jan’11. Since then the Mileage never crossed above 25 kmpl on average. The Company / Showroom / Service Centre claims it to be 40-45 kmpl in City
I decided to buy this one due to it’s economical price and mileage of 45-55 kmpl as I was using RX-100 previously and wanted to switch to a newer Bike as RX-100 I rode was 15 years older and I was getting lesser mileage with it
I am screwed now and want to warn all those who opt for SZ Series of Bike to make sure beforehand that I will give them proper mileage as they promise
I have already taken up the matter with the Showroom and Service Centre and I visit the Company Service Centre at least once in a month apart from regular Service. It seems they are doing trial and error with the Bike to enhance it’s mileage but to no avail
I am now tired of visiting Service Centre and are also helpless as nothing improves despite their earnest trys. Sometimes, I suspect on their capabitilies, sometimes I have a feeling that I have been delivered a defective / sub-standard piece. God knows what has happened but it’s sure that I am the ULTIMATE LOSER
Apart from above problems, The Bike is wonderful. It’s length provides a good room for my family consisting me, my wife, and two daugthers to fit in. The power it generates makes you feel you ride a sports bike and pick-up is as good as old loved adored RX-100
One should without a blink of an eye go for SZ Series PROVIDED mileage issue is resolved
Anyone has any Idea / solution for me to enhance my Bike’s Mileage, please inform me
