Legends Swing on a Rollercoaster...

*Reviews are meant to be informative as well as worth reading. Now if this doesn’t belong to any then I must confess that I failed in drawing crowds out here.

Some times we get caught up in our troubles and problems. And we led life sort of slip away and life is precious, all our life and we should take it as much as possible. We all reach to a stage where we get petrified with lots of fantasy. Infact one could easily reach to the parallel stage where we get stuck with our thoughts and yet another relics.

The BRAND Yanni is not known to many until the magical touch for many illussions into quality piece. *"It’s really strange, but they speak to me

  • the notes and the chords. So when I hear other people’s music, I can

feel the composer. Whoever created that, I can see in their soul." And this review is an Insight into his life and the en route to his career.

Yanni is a self-taught pianist who began his musical career by giving recitals for family members. Early in his life, he was also a competitive swimmer in Greece and set a national record in the 50-meter freestyle competition. He later attended the University of Minnesota and earned a B.A. in psychology.

After graduation, Yanni chose to attempt a career in music, although he

could not read music and had no formal training. Using his own form of

musical shorthand, he began writing original works. Courtesy: Wikipedia

*Living in a picturesque village where people never dare to dream this eccentric charisma have developed a map to conquer the well known evolution of a musical brand and the name is not that unfamiliar to many. When I was listening to *"One man’s dream", *the creative side of Yanni and the personality who is not comfortable or rather not known by the musical notes amazed me, infact the note ended leaving a mark for many to think. Think, to capture those memoirs which passeth by and to  judge ourselves to do something in life since we all  l I v e just once!

He is a philosopher, and the master of his trade where millions admire him for the work that leaves and cherish for great composer’s like so and so. But ultimately, the genius leaves a smile telling, "Anybody can become a Yanni, when they have that desire to START and to SUSTAIN". Well, I have few collections of Yanni and my favourite of his are:

  1. One Man’s Dream

  2. Reflections of Passion

  3. So Long Friend

  4. Playing by heart

  5. Until the last moment

  6. If I could tell you

  7. Mermaid [This is terrific]

  8. Aria [British Airways Theme]

  9. Rainmaker

Infact the album LIVE AT ACROPOLIS is the best of all and it adds more value when he plays it his place and the emotional scenes where he dedicates a song for his mother. I would recommend this album for all music lover’s who want to feel music. Preferably go for a DVD and that explains the rest. Probable this would be the shortest review I have written in MS however, I feel somebody who read it should have an urge to listen to his music and get back to write where I stopped.

To conclude, I would like to add one of his quotes which touched me and it goes like this, "My

father once said, ’If the whole world wants to go left and you feel

like going right, go right. You don’t have to follow. You don’t have to

make a big deal about which way you’re going. Just go. It’s very

easy’."

And we all know, the rest is history!
