Yesterday I was unable to book train tickets through IRCT and so I went to Yatra.com to book tickets. I found yatra.com as a very well designed website for ticket bookings. This website seems good to book Flight tickets only. If you have IRCT account then there is no need to go to Yatra.com to book train tickets as yatra will charge you its service charges plus the charges by IRCT. So, why should you go to yatra.com when you can easily book your tickets at IRCT???
Also I noticed that if you cannot book tickets on IRCT then you cannot book anywhere else except at the station counters. Also, the yatra.com website is slow. After booking the tickets you cannot see the PNR status on yatra .com You must go to some other websites to check the PNR status.All in all Yatra.com may be good for flight and holiday bookings but I did not find any point in using this website to book train tickets.
