Yebhi is one of the funniest online services I have come across of late. My wife orders a pair of shoes for me, it shows ’dispatched’ after 2 days, and after that 5 days go by, and there’s no trace of my shoes!
I call Yebhi, they say, "sir, your shoes couldn’t be delivered, so it’s on its way back to our warehouse". Why, what happened? "Our delivery person couldn’t locate your address, and the reason given by him is that your address and number are incomplete"! Why what is wrong with my address and number, can you read it out to me? The whole world delivers products to my place!
He reads out my address and number - they are absolutely fine! Then why? "sir, our delivery person couldn’t locate your address, and reason given by him is that you address and number are incomplete" - ditto same line again!
But my friend, the address and number you just read out to me are correct!! Guess the response - "sir, our delivery person couldn’t locate your address, and reason given by him is that you address and number are incomplete" - like a tape recorder on the other end of the phone!
Well, chalo, what’s done is done! Now what? How can I get my shoes? "sir, once the product comes back to our warehouse, we will put your money back in your wallet, and you can use it to order the same product again"!! Such a long process for such a small transaction?
How long will it take for the product to come back to your warehouse? "sir, it may take 3 - 5 business day". And how long for my money to be available on my wallet? "sir, 3 - 5 business days"!! Wow, 10 days to get my money back after your delivery guy wasn’t able to locate my address?? Well, I didn’t dare ask him that, lest I hear the same recorded line again!! OK, I shall wait...
2 days later, the biggest Yebhi Joke happened!
A delivery person calls my wife’s phone, and says, "mam, I am coming to pick up return order". What return order? "return order placed by you mam, for the shoes delivered earlier"!! Wow..return order of the shoes that were never delivered?
I wonder how would he find his way though, since they couldn’t locate my address to deliver my shoes earlier!!!!
