Ordered a cell phone(Cash on Delivery) using this code yesterday. Within seconds of ordering, I got a confirmation call from Yebhi. By evening, the order status was changed to verified and their page said will ship in 48 hours.
The fun started today in the afternoon when I checked my account from my office. The order was cancelled. I instantly called up Yebhi customer care and was told that the cell phone is out of stock and thus my order was cancelled. I was even told that I would get back the promotion code that I had used for this order. After the call was cut, I just checked again and found that the product was still in stock and I could still order it.
After I came home I called up their customer care again and confirmed about it and this time some guy called Jatin said that it was out of stock was cancelled. Then I told him that their website still shows the product in stock and was told that it is a technical miss. I clearly asked him if it was cancelled because of the promotion code which made the cell phone price very low(500 rupees lower than the lowest online price as well), and he politely said “No Sir, it is just because it is out of stock”. I questioned him asking if I order it again at MRP, if it would be cancelled again and he said “Try it Sir, but remember that we have 7 days time to ship the product”. This really shocked me as my order was cancelled today within 24 hours(because I used a promotion code generated by their system) and today when I try to order the same product at their marked price, they say that they have 7 days time to get new stock and ship my orders.
First of all I feel that it was their mistake to provide a promotion code which worked on all the product. They disabled the code within minutes after realizing that it is working on everything. But the worst part is that they are not at all credible and they are lying for such a petty thing. I have been their customer for a long time(when they were Big Shoe Bazaar) and also asked many of my friends to try them out. However, this one today totally disappointed me. Had they accepted that my order was cancelled because the coupon code was not valid on all products, I wouldn’t have felt this about them.
