Yeh Rishta kya kehlata hai has been running on Star Plus since many years. I have been following this show since its inception. I feel, the best part of this show does not have any villians or vamps to create negativity for the story.
This show revolves around Naitik and Akshara’s family and how both of them overcome difficulties of family life and how they happily live and keep their joint family together. Although the story has had some hiccups but the show had an interesting ride.
The story had very well shown how a newly married Akshara adjusted into a new family after marriage and the way the conservative elders of the family very happily give way for new customs and rituals. Now after a generation leap the story has become interesting with the children having grown up. The story gets stretched sometimes, which can be avoided by the makers. The twists and turns arise from the usual day to day problems which come accross all families. The serial has been made for all family audiences and shows us how with a few adjustments we can live very happily in a joint family also.
