They are not so professional as they say in ads.
We had Current A/C with this bank and their centralized bank closed us all of sudden. Surprising thing is that we deposited all cheques on WED and account closed on SAT. All our money locked and staff feel that is not a problem. The reason was very very funny, my office registered building was demolished, which was my directors own house who still live in the same location. We were surprised with that message and even the Bank Manager not aware of our account got closed. All this due to a report by a newly joined relationship(da)manager.
When our account was closed, we were maintaining proper Minimum Balance, Very Regular with transactions, no check got returned in whole relationship, my company authorized personal visit bank every week. The relationship managers changes frequently and they do not know what to do. They give answer that they sent a closure letter and god only knows where they delivered but bank gives me some COURIER COMPANY details to track. God only knows why do they need to do this when a official representative was visiting their bank weekly once.
When they know that our account closed, the gave me a super idea of reopening another account with new account numer, which was very funny to me. We requested them to reopen the bank account but they are not ready as they have to tell to their HO thier mistakes.
We have relationship with other banks and communicated all our customers in OVERSEAS to not do any bank transfers due to this. We lost our face with customer because of Yes Bank.
Before you start your relationship with them, just ask them why was a Bank of a genuine company with account number ending with 314 closed in NUNGAMBAKKAM Brach in Chennai. They customer service guys repeatedly calling us requesting us to close this issue. Manager Mr. RK need to be awarded for statement "You should have came for OD or Loan " I was arguing that this bank closed account of a company which never came for any requests and doing regular banking very professionally.
Open an account and be prepared for closing also. I am not writing this out of frustration but be prepared. Otherwise they are very good bank.
