I came to live in Chennai a year ago. From then on, I have been getting all my groceries at Yesesi Supermarket and Am very satisfied.Its close to my home and in the main road and I’ve never had a problem parking. The staff is very helpful and the merchandise is constantly refurbished.The aisles have enough space to use the trolleys, stand and make your selection. The store brand flour, sugar etc and good enough that I have never had to buy any branded stuff. They have a wide selection of brands too, if one is so inclined.Apart from groceries, they do have a floor where you can get stationery, plastic, cookware and misc stuff. But they do seem to run out of odd stuff. For instance, they didnt stock any umbrellas during the rainy season. Nor any clothesline. Though they have cloth pegs. Just seemed weird to me... To have cloth pegs but not clothesline!The girls there help senior citizens by carrying around their baskets or doing their shopping for them. Anytime I cant locate a product, all I had to do was ask someone and they found it for me with a smile.The produce and fruits section is also good. They are fresh and priced reasonably. The cashiers in the check out do it as fast as they can and the bagging is very much to my liking.Am one who is finicky abt bagging my groceries. Food products go into one bag, cleaning supplies another etc. These people do it that way without having to ask them :-) There is a small eatery inside the place. I havent tried much of their stuff but the pastries taste good.They do have some schemes and plans for frequent shoppers but I have never used them. Nor have I participated in any of their contests so I cant write abt those. Except for produce and fruits, we are allowed to pay with sodexho meal coupons which is great!All in all, I would recommend this supermarket to anyone living in the Anna Nagar area.
