Yo Bike was promised for its cost efficiency but I found it to be more expensive and troublesome than the petrol-driven bikes.
They promised of 15 paise per k.m. fuel cost but the battery’s life is just 2 years. They promised 50 to 60 kms of run per battery charge but the actual is considerably low.The charger needs frequent replacement and is very expensive at Rs.1200 approximately.The service personnel are not knowledgeable. The shock absorbers are pathetic. The body is brittle. It gets damaged very easily.The brakes are not in tune with the speed.The speed has a limit of 25 kms per hour.
There are advantages of it being no need of driving licence and environmental friendly but then it gives a lot of headache.
