On behalf of my elderly parents I ordered a Autopilot Talking Road Navigator in October 2003 from YOUCANSAVE.COM from an email offer that originated with AAA.
Over two months later it finally arrived. It proved unsatisfactory and my parents attempted to contact AAA, who referred them back to YOUCANSAVE.COM who had provided no contact number on the paperwork accompanying the item. My Mom followed the return instructions to the letter, which directed her to return the item from whence it had been shipped: Great Buy USA, 6960 Eastgate Blvd., Lebanon, TN 37090.
Months passed without my Moms credit card being credited for the returned item. I emailed YOUCANSAVE.COM. No response. I phoned Great Buy USA. They disavowed all responsibility for the item, referring us back to YOUCANSAVE.COM. I called YOUCANSAVE.COM who said it was GreatBuy USAs responsibility to refund my Mom. I called GBUSA and they said the same of YOUCANSAVE.COM, whom I called again.
The supervisor would only give me her first name and the customer service address to which I could send my complaint--to her attention(!). She refused to provide a company offical to whom I could appeal my case, she refused to give a corporate address or telephone number and refused to give her last name. She then hung up on me. On the web I have since found numorous complaints against both companies.
We are referring this case to the Massachusetts Attorney Generals Office and The Better Business Bureau. Avoid YOUCANSAVE.COM like the plague!
