I live in bangalore and had been using Airtel in past, Airtel’s service prior to year 2011 was good, but since 2011, it’s service has been pathetic, So finally decided to move to other ISP named you broadband. Though it took around 10 days time for me to get the connection with follow ups, once the connection was made my internet connection has been running smoothly. I have opted for a dual speed plan named hurricane you (3 months membership).
Though the plan says I will get 12mbps speed till 80gb download, but the fact is speed keeps fluctuating between 2mbs and 10mbps. I can download a 5gb movie in 4 hours. internet used to get down once or twice in a month for few hours and calling the customer care number fixes the issue. Overall I am very much happy with the you broadband service, I have connected the you broadband’s cable modem to my wireless linksys router and I can connect my laptop, xbox360 and blu-ray player at the same time.
If you are staying in bangalore go for you broadband, it’s much better than the services of BSNL and Airtel.
