Youtube since bought by google does not give two hoots about the youtubers with less number of views and less number of subscribers, basically small youtubers. There used to be a time when small youtubers could still earn money from making videos and sharing them to their fanbase but that time is over now. Its almost impossible now for a youtuber with any controversial content to start a channel on youtube in 2018 and expect to start earning money from it as youtube will do nothing to support you or promote your videos. Even investing in seo of your videos won’t help you and having larger watchtime than the big youtubers will still not help you. Your videos will be lying at the end of tag search and there’s nothing you can do about it.
I make videos, vines and vlogs under the name RS vines daily on my channel and I’ve been doing it since forever. My videos still don’t rank up in search. There is literally no way I can beat other bigger vloggers than me and there video ranking. First it used to be 10000 views to get monetization on your videos but now they require you to get 4000 hours of watchtime and 1000 subscribers which is just impossible for youtubers like me. Moreover they don’t even like to put much ads in videos of Indian youtubers and don’t even bother to bargain with the brands that buy ad space in videos to promote their brand.
Youtube is just a dream impossible to achieve for small youtubers like me as there’s literally nothing they will do to support you.
