YouTube. Something which we some way or other get to interact or hear this word. YouTube from just being a huge sea of videos to a completely new content driven platform has evolved so much and has come a long way. Since I’m just a consumer I’ll be talking everything from the consumer point of view.
Earlier that’s were times when on YouTube if you’re watching something it’ll show randomly something else for your suggestions ans now with it’s improved algorithm it had started noting down the watch patterns of it’s users and is able to provide you with a lot of relevant content.
With YouTube paying a good amount and a lot of brands closing in, it has changed the way products were advertised and now there are content creators who have no less than turned into a celebrity and are churning sone big money. But with this comes competition and as a consumer gives you good content to watch and drives the creators to be relevant and gather views create good content.
With a lot of money involved it has provided a lot of employment opportunities for infact every field, all you need to have is internet connection, camera and content.
Since YouTube has come learning has become easier as lots of channels provide some really good content and can help you through your exams or academics or for that matter anything that you need help with, just search and you’ll have hundreds of videos telling and showing you how to do it.
Cons :
It does has some cringe content, but it’s algorithms keeps improving and tries to keep it away from your suggestions.
YouTube has changed the entertainment industry completely.
With a lots of advertisements in place the ads take up a lot of space and are irritating sometimes.
They’ve already come up with paid premium contents and channels having their own paid memberships for extra content and personal interaction, which kind of makes the free content at risk in future.
Overall it’s a very good application to use and can help you with a lot if stuff, only if used cautiously.
