Well well well, this wasn’t kind of expected! A company working under MICROMAX did this! They provided a phone under just Rupees 5000 which can turn out to be the best smartphone for the people with really low budget!
I already said this in my previous review but would state it yet again, that Yu is really doing a great job providing devices for each and every sector of the society! They provided the Yu Yutopia( 25000 INR), Yu Yureka Plus( 10000 INR), Yu Yureka( 9000), Yu Yuphoria( 7000 INR) and yet finally the Yu Yunique( 5000 INR) and I am really loving the fact that an Indian manufacturer is doing the same!
Talking about the device in particular, the Yu Yunique has the ability to provide really very very nice experience to a person new to Android or to the world of smartphones!
Well, the best part of the phone is that it DOES NOT come with that shitty CyanogenMod ROM any more! And I really really love that fact! The company this time decided not to provide an experience full of bugs, ratger, they decided to provide stock android version 5.1.1 to the users. What they did as an option to the users, was that they gave an option of downloading and applying the CyanogenMod ROM by themselves through an open source that they personally would be providing! But that isn’t it, they also gave the consumers the option that they could take their YU smartphones to a nearby Yu service centre and they would flash the CyanogenMod for you! And that, basically is a very very big step that you televentures have taken up for the consumers!
So, yes that was all about CyanogenMod and now, talking about the device particularly, for the price that you are paying, you are definitely getting the good deal!
Okay, so this device wouldn’t be the best in Gaming or camera performance, but, I am not saying that it is bad either! The overall performance is quiet okayish overall and quiet nice if we take the price in consideration!
The display whereas is quiet average and I rhink that this is the place where the company has cut down the expenses!
Other than that, this phone is the first one to have dual 4G sim card slots under this price range, and that I think, is a really nice thing!
So, yes that basically is it for what I want to say about the device! If you have a tight budget, you should definitely go for it!
